The Ibeyi
The Ibeyi or divine twins are also
known as the Jimaguas. They are the darlings children of Santeria
and are said to be the bringers of great material prosperity.
They are the children of Chango and are said to be his messengers.
Twin dishes of candy and fruit are the offerings that are given
to the Ibeyi. They are syncretized in Santeria with Saint Cosme
and Saint Damian.
